Last year, I wrote a lengthy blog post (the first race recap that I wrote for this blog) after running this race for the first time. If you are interested in the the history of the trail or the course and elevation (it has not changed), you can find that post here.
Again, it’s been hard to find time to blog, run, and work. These two weeks are “registration week” at school. I’ll be meeting with fifteen students and their parents for thirty minutes or more to discuss and schedule their classes for next school year. In addition to the actual meeting time, I will need to review their transcripts and current grades and attendance before each meeting. It’s the most stressful time of the year at school, and it leads right up to Spring Break (much needed after twelve straight weeks of classes since the semester started). Continue reading
